It is a budget friendly hotel INSIDE the walls of a centuries old Castle
Liked: I had a service dog with me. They were happy to meet him and even brought him a care package to the room. A blanket too. They are pet friendly.

Palmela visit
Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous breakfast. Stunning views and a very lovely building. Tea and coffee making in the room and a lovely bottle of complimentary wine on our arrival.
Disliked: Everything was great, only a minor comment. Housekeeping did not appear until 5.30pm to clean our room on our second day. This was inconvenient timing as we had just returned to the room from a full day out to freshen up before going to dinner.
Apart from the check in it was very good

Disliked: There was a muddle over check in and we waited for an hour for our room. The staff tried to be helpful but we just wanted a room.
Liked: Second time in this beautiful pousada. This time I was celebrating my partner's birthday and the sure made it very special.
