  Overall a little disappointment

Liked: Beautiful wooden elevator. Very kind lady at the reception, easy late check-in.

Disliked: All windows lead to some kind of corridor, it was not possible to let them open during the night. We were given less towels than was right. The breakfast was extremely simple for a hotel in the center of one of the biggest Swiss cities.

Disliked: Although the bathroom was private, it was in the corridor where is outside of my room. It felt like I was living in a dorm and slightly inconvenient.

Liked: This is a lovely hotel in Bern. The location was very central so close to the trams and railway station. The breakfast was good and we enjoyed our stay here. Our room was very clean and spacious.

Disliked: The trams outside could be a bit noisy at times but it didn't really worry us at all.

Quick stay near town and Insel Hospital

Liked: The location is very good to town and near Insel hospital. The bus in the front and free bus service. Clean room with a beautiful city view.

Disliked: If the hotel lift is out of service, people with wheel chair or senior will have a problem.

Liked: Fab lift, staff were very helpful, always got a wave from the desk when in the lift. Room with balcony was great.

Disliked: A few trip hazards, but accept this is an old building. Otherwise had a great stay.
