  Great Stay in the Heart of Bern!

  Liked: 1) The Room: Beautiful, spotless, and full of authentic Swiss charm. Fully furnished with excellent appliances (Smart TV, washer, dryer, dishwasher, kitchenware). 2) Location: Unbeatable spot in the heart of Altstadt! Walking distance to the Zytglogge, transit stations, and local supermarkets (COOP, Migros, Denner). 3) Hosts: Rob & Sarah are warm, responsive, and extremely attentive to every little detail.

  Disliked: 1) The key lockbox was a bit hard to find initially (look near the hair salon between the bakery and Harmonie Restaurant). 2) The kitchen and bathroom are separated from the bedroom across a shared hallway, which was slightly inconvenient but manageable.

  Excellent stay in Bern. Great location as well!

  Liked: Great location and a very spacious and comfortable stay in Bern. Our 2 kids said the twin beds in the living room were also very comfortable. Well furnished unit which allowed us to prepare some meals in the unit. Would definitely book here again if we come back to Switzerland.

  Fantastic place in the old city of Bern with a beautifully tiled stove

  Liked: It was fascinating to live in a historical place in Bern, just around the corner from everything. I really enjoyed the thoughtful design touches seamlessly blended with the apartment’s rich historical heritage. The apartment has a spacious and well-thought-out living area, complete with a dedicated workspace and a cozy sitting area. The true gem of the apartment is the beautifully tiled stove There is a separate, comfortable sleeping area, as well as a fully equipped kitchen, accessible via a short walk through stairs hall. The apartment is exceptionally well-stocked with everything one might need - a speaker, kitchenware, blankets, chargers, and more. I truly appreciated that!

  Disliked: I truly appreciate all the guidance provided in the apartment regarding heating, hot water, waste disposal, and other essentials, it’s very helpful! From a language perspective, though, I find that sometimes it feels more welcoming to read supportive instructions rather than strictly worded rules and regulations. Of course, I completely understand that this formal tone may stem from past experiences with guests not following the rules. That makes perfect sense. I do believe however it’s always nice to arrive at a place where the guidelines feel more like support rather than enforcement. Just a small thought!:)

  All together we had a lovely stay and we definitively recommand this apartment

  Liked: The appartment had a lot of character and was very nicely decorated. The location was perfect for visiting Berne city centre. It was also very quiet and right next to a nice bakery for breakfast!

  Disliked: We were surprised not to have informations on the unusual layout (kitchen/bathroom separated by the staircase from bedroom and leaving room). It took us a little while to figure it out. The left side of the main bedroom matress was lumpy.

  Central location, comfortable beds, spacious with history interest

  Liked: Excellent location although a little noisy on Saturday morning when they are setting up the meat and cheese market- on the other hand the meat and cheese market is right on the doorstep- fabulous breakfast

  Disliked: I didn’t realise the bathroom/ kitchen were across a shared hall until I arrived ( but I was ok with this) I never saw anyone else anyway!
