Alpina is your Spot for ski roc n rol
Liked: The price is awesome, for me, a solo skier. Excellent Value. Zermatt roc n rol.
Great location to everything, clean, very friendly staff, room small but typical for Europe

Liked: A very pretty hotel. Around 3.5 to 4 stars. Very walkable from Zermatt station, so don't bother with the EUR30 electric taxis. Excellent service from Francessco at reception; a definite credit to the establishment. Nice breakfast at adjoining Hotel Tannerhof. (Check-in is a also at Tannerhof).
Disliked: Body wash cannister in bathroom was completely empty.

Close to walk around town
Liked: Walk around 10 minutes from the train station. The service desk at the other hotel walked a few steps from each other. Clean
Disliked: Small room. I have to lift big suitcases for a few steps before getting to the elevator. The road wasn't smooth to push the big suitcases.
