  I wish I would have paid more money to stay on the Main Street and have a view of the Matterhorn

  Liked: The Breakfast was good.

  Disliked: If you ask for 2 extra Towels for the very first time after a long warm sweaty 5 mile hike don’t be surprised if the host says that it is “completely unacceptable” and they rudely and begrudgingly give you 1 towel and then say “this can not continue”.

  Lovely stay with great hosts that make you feel really welcome

  Liked: We loved it here great location, Thor and Michelle were so nice helped us with best places to visit. The breakfast was very nice and the room was great with a really comfortable bed.

  A great, authentic hotel

  Liked: Hotel Romantica is family owned for many years and is authentic. It is on a quiet side street, it's very quaint & beautifully decorated in swiss country style. We loved the garden landscaping in front. The owner, Michelle, is very nice and Thor, her front desk person was a jewel and so helpful. We loved our room with a mountain and garden view. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good, with great service.

Please note that Zermatt is a car-free village. You can park your car in Täsch (indoor parking) and continue to Zermatt by train or taxi.
