Fabulous
Liked: We got a free room upgrade that came with a kitchen and a full access to the spa. The entire staff were so friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived and left the hotel. Location was perfect and the room was an absolute dream and so happy we decided to stay here.

Liked: The property was outstanding and exceptionally well-equipped. Everything was wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only area that could be improved is the Wi-Fi, as the connection could be better. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Great location and studio size with fully functional kitchenette
Liked: We loved the location, the comfy bed, studio was clean, perfect use of kitchenette and fridge & great size. For an extra CHF 20.- fee per person/ per day: access to Alpen Resort Spa.
Disliked: - Ground floor, heard main door (entrance) every time it opened; and there was a screeching door on floor above us that we heard several times each morning making restful mornings difficult. - Was very hot; we couldn’t adjust heating. But we aired out with room & living room window. - The manual lock on door was broken. They assured us that it was safe and only a person with key card could enter but we didn’t love the idea that we couldn’t lock it from inside ourselves. - Booking.com confirmed that latest check out was at 11:00 but we received a text on WhatsApp from Alpen Resort Hotel at 8:30 (we were sleeping) informing to check out by 10:00. Would be great for them to align to avoid any stress morning of check out.
Not good value for money
Liked: Clean modern and fresh. No reception desk. Sister hotel is 5 minute walk. This was more an Airbnb style.
Disliked: Suitable more for 2 adults than a small family as if more than 2 guests, the bed is a pull out bed and takes up a lot of the floor space. It felt tight and crammed. Be mindful, the hotel charged me extra for my 10 year old son. Booking.com messed up my reservation and didn’t include my child. Hotel staff wouldn’t allow check in until payment made. It was an extra 40francs for a kid! There are signs up regarding breakages of crockery and tidiness with the extortionate charges applicable which is very off putting. Made it uneasy to be comfortable. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone with children. Wouldn’t stay again
The location saved the day. Everything was within walking distance
Liked: We did not have breakfast. The location was great!
Disliked: We couldn't operate the stove or the oven/microwave. We called the customer service number and left a message but no one called back! Even access to the bathtub was too high ---- not for the elderly or anyone with any kind of disability.
Liked: I like everything besides the trash issue.
Disliked: About having to take out trash ourselves the room already has a bin with black trash bag, but no, you must buy the official orange trash bag from the supermarket yourself. and then you will need to find the correct public collection point yourself to throw the orange trash bag in. There are no guidelines provided where to find the closest one and what the container looks like.
