  Liked: Great facilities and our onsite manager (Paula) was excellent. Views from the apartment were great.

  Disliked: Access. Access. Access. This was either difficult or expensive. We made the mistake of walking from the station. 10 minutes from the centre of town according to the info provided. Not a chance. The last few hundred metres involves a 9 switchback gravel track. No mention of that either. The only alternative is an 18CHF one way ticket on the Gornegrat per person. The cost of that was not mentioned anywhere and that would add up over 12 days.

  Amazing views and a comfortable stay, with a steep walk to get to the apartment!

  Liked: Views, comfortable size.

  Disliked: It’s a steep walk to get there. The living space is large with not too much furniture. There’s no shampoo/ conditioner / soap in the shower.

  Will definitely go back!!!

  Liked: Just everything! From the location, the amenities and cleanliness and the staff (Paula and Nora for the win!!), they’re all great! Waking up in the morning to the view of Matterhorn is amazing, there are no words to describe it!

  Disliked: If you’re not that fit just make sure that you book the Zermatt to legender train ticket because the way to go up is brutal, specially if you’re taking a suitcase, speaking from experience but other than that it’s 10000000/10

Good to know

The Legendär is only accessible by the Gornergrat train (1st stop: Legendär) or the pedestrian path (10 minutes walk from the center of Zermatt). The residence is therefore not accessible by taxi. It is possible to take the Gornergrat train from the residence to go directly to the ski slopes (Gornergrat included in the ski pass in winter).Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
