Exceptional
Posh stay nice location
Liked: Good breakfast with a good selection. The chef and staff were very friendly and professional, and they kindly prepared fresh fried eggs for us on request. The reception staff were also welcoming, friendly and professional. We loved the location. We didn’t realise until the following morning that we could see the Matterhorn sunrise from our room — what a wonderful surprise!
Disliked: We paid nearly CHF 500 for a stay of only around 12 hours, so we expected a much higher standard of comfort. One of the beds for the double occupancy was a sofa bed, which was disappointing. There were also no additional or spare pillows or quilts available in the room, which made the sleeping arrangements less comfortable than expected for the price.

Liked: The person who checked us in was amazing and he made us feel prepared and very safe. We had a wonderful time. The view of the Matterhorn and the herd of blackface sheep nearby felt so beautiful. The breakfast was beyond great and having a heated pool onsite plus a free-to-use washer dryer downstairs was amazing!!!! I am sharing a picture of the Matterhorn from our balcony and a picture of the blackface sheep. Each sheep wears a cowbell and you can hear every step they take. They are adorable!!
Disliked: The only thing we didn’t like having to leave….. it was so fun there!!
Beautiful location and very lovely hotel
Liked: The location was perfect, close to station + city centre. Liked the Swimming pool and sauna. Breakfast was very lovely
Disliked: My 15 year old son couldn’t use the sauna, which was a shame as it operates on NO swimsuits policy. For myself was also uncomfortable to keep changing my swimsuit every time between swimming pool and sauna.
Beautiful apartment Close to the action
Liked: The apartment is well equipped and maintained. It’s located in central Zermatt close to the train station which is helpful in a town without vehicles.
Disliked: It was hard to cool down at night. We were there during very warm days for Zermatt. The staff repositioned a window which helped a lot
Liked: A great place to stay with family. Having a well-equipped space where we could cook our own meals was especially convenient, and the spa was perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. Breakfast was very generous with plenty of choices, and I particularly enjoyed the variety of cheeses and the freshly squeezed orange juice. Overall, a wonderful choice for a family stay.

Liked: Great location just a short walk from the train station. Breakfast offered a wide variety.
