  Comfy stay with Matterhorn view

  Liked: We had the apartment with Matterhorn view. The apartment was quite big and comfortable, equipped with the necessary cooking utensils. We could see Matterhorn from both the big balcony outside the living room, and from the window of the bedroom. Yet the weather wasn't great and so we couldn't see the legendary Matterhorn in golden sunrise. While the apartment is not in the town centre, it's about 10-12 minutes' walk from the train station. We also tried the massage and spa at its nearby Alpen Resort, which was great and had discount for Patricia guests.

  Disliked: When we checked in using the self-check-in station, we asked for two key cards. We were given two but one of them did not function. On the next day, we went to the front desk of its nearby Alpen Resort for an exchange of a new key card, the faulty one was fixed while the originally working one became out of order. So throughout our stay, we (a family of 3 adults) only had one key card to use. It didn't affect us very much though. A little disappointed as the apartment was only on the first floor.

  Liked: The apartment was clean. We had a view of the Matterhorn from our patio. The couch fold out bed was comfortable. It was convenient to leave luggage at the sister location.

  It was a great place to stay, close to groceries, restaurants & train station

  Liked: There were 2 bedrooms equipped with all the linens, main room had a view of the Matterhorn & a balcony to sit out & enjoy. Kitchen was clean & well-stocked with cutlery & cooking pots/utensils. All rooms had their own TV, spacious & great for entertainment.

  Disliked: Bathtub drain was slow & a bit clogged. Directions from Google Maps to the Alpen Resort & Spa (where you get your room card key) was confusing. It would be good if the hotel itself provided the clear directions to the place, from the train station.

  Liked: The living room is relatively large, and the kitchen utensils are also quite complete

  Disliked: However, since it's a self-service hotel, basically, before we checked in, I had already told the customer service online that we needed help to separate a double bed into two separate single beds. The customer service promised that it was already prepared, After we checked in, we found everything was as usual, still with two double beds. My friend can't adapt to sleeping in the same bed with others, so he has to sleep on the sofa in the living room. The contact number provided by customer service is completely unreachable.

  Liked: Loved the apartment with everything we needed. Co.fortablr beds and very clean. Staff was available and very helpful when we had problems finding the lodging

  Disliked: The location was great, but very hard for us to find. Google maps stopped several hundred meters before. But staff was very helpful when we called them. Building itself was confusing as you had to got through different doors on the same floor. Taking the elevator is essential. Our keys didn't work, but staff came immediately with keys to let us in
