Excellent value, lovely boutique guest house

Liked: The location of A & B Guest House is excellent, just a few minutes walk from the station, in the direction of the city centre. Contactless check in instructions were clear, although as it happens as I arrived, Ingrid was there to greet me. My room was small (I had booked a compact double) but cleverly laid out so that everything I needed was available. The room was nicely decorated, impeccably clean and very comfy. Basic toiletries were provided (hand wash and shower gel) and as well as drink making facilities in the room, excellent coffee was available from reception. The shower pressure and temperature were both good - shower head fixed but I had a shower cap with me so that was fine! Excellent value and a pleasant stay - I will be back!

Disliked: Fixed shower heads are never great, and require a shower cap, which wasn't provided (but I had one with me), but that's being very picky indeed!

Liked: Very clean, I would say one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. The host is friendly and accommodating. Short walk to Cambridge centre and railway station. There is a nice cafeteria 5 mins away and few different restaurants.

  Value for money

Liked: Close vicinity to train station and event attending. Room had all that I needed.

Disliked: Radiator could be doing with a clean.
