Lovely place. Breakfast bang average
Liked: Breakfast dissapointing
Disliked: Only scrambled egg. Food cold. Tea stewed. Little choice for non cooked breakfast
Liked: Really good overall - the location is a bit further from the city center (comparing to Hilton or University Arms), but has its perks, like the quick punting access Facilities and rooms are great - loved the impressive lobby design made out of punting boats. Amenities are provided on request. Overall the hotel's design/style (including rooms) is quite impressive, one of the best comparing to other hotels in Cambridge The staff is professional, polite and to the point The breakfast is really good, as well as the afternoon tea
Disliked: The restaurant and bar are a bit limited in spots, so there might a queue for breakfast. Also not a fan of the current dining menu (personally) A bit farther location might lead to being stuck in a traffic for a bit if traveling via car/taxi, depending on the time of day On minor issue was having to book the afternoon tea at the restaurant directly, after reception failed to do so when calling from a room. Issue is not with the fact of booking directly/in-person, rather with the connection between reception and restaurant booking
Liked: The location was fantastic close to town - yet set back giving you the river the chilled vibe Bar was lovely Spa really nice touch. Downside the pool was a bit cold and the beds were a bit small
Disliked: The breakfast
Disliked: Need to be clearer on the size of the balcony! Although the staff was helpful and swapped rooms still leaves a bad taste as it’s false advertising
