Disliked: The pool was open to the public. If that area was just for hotel guests then this would get a 10/10
Liked: The hotel, it's staff, and the facilities were awesome. We enjoyed the swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The restaurant and it's staff both for dinner last night and for Breakfast today was first class and the bedroom was lovely and clean and super comfortable. Thanks guys!

An emergency nights sleep, could have done better
Liked: The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Very quiet for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was very good and the bar area was nice.This was my first stay here of the week going around Cambridges Holiday Inns as my wife was in Addenbrookes having two brain tumours removed so I have stayed in all of them more than once.
Disliked: I had been in various Hospitals for 3 days when I arrived at around 10pm. The parking is very expensive, I scanned the carpark app and paid at the time I arrived. When I got to the reception I was given the hard sell about joining the IHG club. All I wanted was a drink to wind down and a bed. I explained that I had been awake for over 20 hours and was told after I had paid that I could have had some kind of parking deal. If you ask for Breakfast when you check in you get a discount. After all this I still ended up with a £60 car park fine.
Liked: Good facilities, large family rooms, restaurant had a good choice of dishes, plentiful selection for breakfast.
Disliked: Beds were a little uncomfortable and therefore we didn’t sleep too well. Bathroom needed updating and was a little worse for wear.
Not value for money
Liked: Not much, advertisement says 4 star but is nowhere near this standard
Disliked: Room was cold and not clean, no window in room. TV stations not working. No salad at breakfast and juice was heavily watered down. Park and ride is not walkable and has to be driven to via a dual carriageway.
Fantastic Hotel
Liked: The cleanliness of the hotel, the facilities.
Disliked: Some people wouldn't allow others to use certain facilities within the spa, such as the hot tub and the steam room, but other than that it was lovely.
