Liked: Plenty of parking spaces. Reasonable travel distance to local race circuits. Couple of nice restaurants short drive away giving discount to rectory farm guests. I requested a bath and had a room 'upgrade' to facilitate this.

Disliked: Cleanliness left a lot to be desired, layer of dust on lots of surfaces, kettle, lamp base, skirtings, etc. Chipboard table covered with dated, stained cloth as it was near a bin. Tea or coffee splashes on wall near bedside table. Stains on roller blind in bathroom. Limescale build up on kettle spout. Chipped furniture, scuffs and marks on walls. Debris under radiator. Just a generally grubby tatty feel to the room. That said the bed was clean and comfortable. Lots of confusion shared with other guests on leaving about a £5 parking charge. No one on reception to ask so had to drop key and leave. Advertises free parking. Would be unlikely to stay again.

Look here before you think of staying in town

Liked: The location is great. Rooms are spotless good sized with very comfortable beds. Parking is avaliable on site park and ride bus almost opposite so easy to get in to town. A nice pub nearby with great food and a 10% discount for guests from Rectory farm. In terms of value for money I don't think you could find much better.

Disliked: Staff are only around at certain times. Most communication is done by online chat email.

Liked: Lovely setting, peaceful, yet near to bus into town. Comfortable beds, nice lounge area.

Disliked: There was a power cut in the morning and I couldn’t find any member of staff on site.
