Lovely and peaceful setting a little way from the centre, great breakfast

Liked: The cooked breakfast was wonderful, really excellent, and the staff were super helpful. My room was fine, if quite a long walk to get to, and was very quiet and peaceful. The bed was a bit soft though, for me.

Disliked: I stayed one night, and unfortunately there was no hot water for the shower in the morning, though I tried everything for quite a long time to get it to work. I reported it as I left, and I think on reflection that I would have appreciated a partial refund, though I didn't ask for one.

A great trip especially when tied to a College Open Day

Liked: Super breakfast; we dined in the main dining hall surrounded by portraits of previous masters

Friendly staff, good stay for overnight

Liked: Beautiful location for breakfast and handy, clean accommodation. Friendly staff. Street parking nearby.

Disliked: Bathroom light on a sensor so it blinded me when I went to the toilet in the night!

  Excellent

Liked: Excellent location, a short walk from the centre of Cambridge and with good bus links from the train station. A lovely spacious old room in the heart of college, clean, with good facilities (tea, coffee maker) with views of Chapel and the hall. It was a shared shower/bathroom, though the staircase was very quiet and so there was never a queue. Breakfast was excellent. Porters were friendly and welcoming. Was great to be back reliving my undergraduate years (spent at a different Cambridge college).

Disliked: The checkout was a little early (9:30) considering it was the weekend.
