  Liked: Immaculately clean house, with on drive parking and garden. Useful location.

  Disliked: There is no door separating the sitting room from the hall (there’s a door frame without a door) which makes it difficult to keep the sitting room warm if it’s cold & in general makes it feel less cosy than it could. Other reviewers have mentioned the excessive communication (including a reminder the night before, that someone would be coming to put the bins out the next day) and it was irritating. We travel often & use many booking sites but haven’t encountered such over communication before. It would put me off booking here again even though the house suited our needs. Having said that, when the boiler failed and we had no hot water and no heating, the response was speedy, effective and professional.

  Good value house which is clean and well presented if you are willing to travel a few minutes from Cambridge centre

  Liked: Clean, comfortable and well presented with lovely garden. Nice modern kitchen.

  Disliked: Becomes passively rather hot in warm weather. A bus and short walk from Cambridge centre.

  Nice house, would stay again

  Liked: Keys easy to collect in the lock box on the side of the house. Easy parking, nice well equip house. Nice garden, lots of fresh mint and herbs. Very close to the river for an evening walk, close to the new Cambridge North train station.

  Disliked: Would have liked more tea-towels. There is a lot of communication from the company that rents out the property - doesn't need to be so much. If you want to message that much, I'd rather it be more personal, less generic.

  Nice comfy, but too much paper work and text messages from owners

  Liked: Nice place, clean and comfy, good location on a quiet road. with parking on drive

  Disliked: After we paid for the booking, we had so many forms to fill in and provide identification. They should make people aware of the requirements before bookings. The heating stopped working most of the day and then the hot water went off for a while. We also kept getting too many messages from owners, to put out the rubbish, to leave on time etc... A bit over the top. Just need codes and then be left alone to enjoy the stay with instructions sent either by email or at the property.

Good to know

Once a reservation is confirmed, the lead guest is required to fill in a short online check-in form and upload a photo of the lead guest's ID before checking in. Failure to do so may result in the reservation being canceled.

Forms must be filled at least 24 hours prior to the check in date.

Payment is collected at booking confirmation (accommodations fee and cleaning fee included).

We charge £35 per pet, per week. Please inform us before check-in if your pet will be staying

You can cancel for free up to 14 days prior to arrival.

For stays over 10 days, you are expected to have interim cleans/linen change (frequency to be agreed depending on length of stay) for an extra fee.

A damage deposit of £350 is required.

The property charges this 2 days before check-out.

This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 working days of check-out.

Your deposit will be refunded in full by credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. - This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
