Good enough for work
Liked: Good price for Cambridge. Not far from where we were working. Clean bed. Hot shower. Fine for builders or guys on the lash.
Disliked: Car park was ok for a car, but too tight for my van, if another vehicle had parked next to me I'd have never gotten out. I wouldn't stay there for a romantic weekend away.

Liked: Kitchen and utensils were relatively good
Disliked: Mold in the bathroom both in the shower and on the ceiling, chair in the room was very dirty with a big spot, carpet in the room was not properly clean, one fridge in the kitchen was not working and with smelly food in it
Cheap getaway for a short break
Liked: Room conveniently connected to bus route as we came by train. One parking space if needed. Comfortable bed. Use of communal kitchen, dinning and sitting room. Nice to have a ground floor room but could hear everything from room above, and they weren't particularly noisy but v squeaky floors. Not a complaint but might be disturbing if you are a light sleeper.
Disliked: Curtains need more hooks as hanging down, mould on bathroom ceiling. Walls are very thin and noise from other guests.
Liked: Older house, older furnishings, busy street.
Disliked: AVOID THIS PLACE. The rooms are bed bugged, moist and dusty, sagging mattresses, leaking shower enclosure and as a bonus you will hear absolutely everything from the adjacent rooms. The staff is very rude - when I reported the bed bugs on their customer service line, the woman instantly started yelling at me that it was impossible, claiming the rooms had recently been treated for pests. After that they completely ignored me for a day and a half, only to tell me late in the evening on the very last day (literally just 10 hours before check-out) that we were welcome to go somewhere else and they would refund us for the remainder of our stay. They are thieves without a shred of basic decency towards people. Booking.com refunded us only a ridiculous fraction of the cost of the stay, citing the fact that the accommodation owner had denied the refund.
Liked: It was a bed for the night to save early travel the following day. There is a communal area but I didnt use that do can't really comment on that. The room itself waa a good size but no facilities outside of a bed and a toilet/shower room. The soft furnishings were old and worn.
