  Liked: The house is well equipped and reasonably close to the Cambridge town centre and supermarket.

  Somewhat disappointing

  Liked: The bedlinen and towels were pristine. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The area felt safe. The host was good at communicating.

  Disliked: This property reminded us strongly of our Grannies’ homes, stuck in the 70s. Although the property was generally clean, the kitchen smelt very damp and we tracked that down to the cupboard under the sink, which needs attention. The bath hasn’t been well maintained, and the efforts at sealant were extremely messy, which gives a poor impression. Like a previous reviewer, we also had an issue with unlocking the front door, from the inside, which was obviously a safety issue. In the twin bedroom, one of the mattresses needs replacing, as the springs can be felt, although the other is fine. The step outside the conservatory is built from stacked paving slabs, covered with a doormat, which didn’t feel safe at all. All in all, we didn’t feel this was worth what was charged.

  Housekeeping needs to be prompt

  Liked: Nice, quiet location Spacious Parking for two cars

  Disliked: Hello, I’m in the property I booked (Dogget Road, Cambridge). I am currently unable to unlock and open the main door from inside my Airbnb accommodation, raising safety concerns. While I can exit through the back door if necessary, this is not an ideal solution. Details: • Time of Incident: Approximately 9:00 PM today. • Host’s Response: The host acknowledged a previous issue with the lock and plans to address it at around 10:30 AM tomorrow. The inability to use the main exit compromises safety and security. I wanted to inform you in case I need support or refund. Thanks, Manohar This is what we wrote to you The bath drain was blocked. The knob for the shower was stuck so that we could not sho at all This took almost 20 hours to be sorted
