  Liked: Excellent location close to the city centre Cosy feel to the hotel. Spacious bedrooms

  Disappointing, I won't be returning to the Queens

  Liked: The general bar area was nicely layed out

  Disliked: Reception staff were distracted and didn't seem to want to answer my queries, one lady was quite rude to me and we queued for over 10 minutes to check in. Breakfast was not good value for money and the rooms and facilitiies were in need of an update. There was also a pet cat roaming the hotel, I am allergic which didn't help

  Satisfactory but not really a four star experience

  Liked: Pleasant central foyer. Easy parking nearby

  Disliked: Ten minute walk into central Chester Paid for a superior room but had to move to a more basic room in the extension block after one night due to a power cut. Have been told I will be reimbursed for the difference. New room good size but tired with mould in the shower and faulty extractor fan. Staff were polite but quite disinterested.
