Excellent spot for visiting Durham, the university etc. Good value for money

  Liked: Location excellent for Durham

Disliked: A few issues (which I shared with the agency) in the kitchen etc. Felt there should have been a spare set of keys.

Lovely stay. Would stay again but not via Booking.com

Liked: Lots of space. Very clean. Nice big, smart and very comfy sofa. Good size kitchen with great selection of good size mugs and glasses. Nice bedrooms. House cool in hot weather due to being sheltered by big trees. Would definitely stay again!

Disliked: Nothing was bad! The kitchen did not come with a j-cloth or a washing up sponge so we bought some cloths. Having a popular board game or two would have been great! Booking.com was a pain as they don’t message you when the owner messages you. On the website and app it is not easy to find the info you need so it took us a while to find the key safe code!

Good location in quiet area with access to river, cathedral, restaurants etc

Liked: Location excellent, quiet area but easy walk into busier areas for shops, restaurants etc. property a good size

Disliked: Apartment hadn’t been cleaned when we arrived! Contacted number given who would only text and not speak on the phone which would have been a lot more personable. Had to go out of apartment for a further 2 hours for cleaners to get in after a long drive there so wasn’t too impressed at all! Pouffe in master bedroom in shreds and needed thrown out.

Liked: Beautiful apartment. Has everything you need. Very comfortable and a short 15 minute walk to the centre of Durham

Disliked: Did send a message to the owner and didn't hear back, so if it's an emergency, you are on your own
