Very good
Lovely, clean and roomy place
Liked: Lovely place and very clean. A TV in lounge and both bedrooms. Large bathroom and great shower. Plenty of cooking equipment etc. Lots of room throughout. Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided which were appreciated. I would recommend this place.
Disliked: The twin beds were only 2'6" wide and headboard banged when you moved. It was a good 15 mins walk into town centre up and down hills the whole way.
Big house!!
Liked: Plenty of space, big rooms. Quiet location. Close to Durham City centre. Good parking.
Disliked: The lane access to the house.

Liked: The apartment is very pleasing, modern, clean and tastefully furnished.unfortunately as we had not received the promised detailed location instructions, we did struggle to find the property.
Disliked: We liked the decor, the space, the light and airy atmosphere.
A series of little annoyances that should be fixed by the host
Liked: Property was clean and comfortable with reasonable access to grocery shops and places to eat. Once you find it, there is also a really lovely back way to the river towpath just a 15 minute walk into the centre of Durham.
Disliked: Finding the place was a trial, especially given poor lighting in the area. The street where the property is located (Grove House Drive) is not listed on Booking.com address adding to the difficulty (even a local taxi struggled). There is no signage to the driveway. Once we got there, we were locked out as the lock was on the snib (why such a lock was on the door was beyond us). The host did put us up elsewhere but this issue could have been avoided. There was a general lack of attention to detail: no bin bags, no oven gloves, no coffee machine (though there were instructions and an empty box). Just enough crockery for the two of us. The single beds were comfortable enough but also the narrowest bed I've ever slept in.

Disliked: The property was difficult to.find. one shared bathroom and toilet was not enough. Stairs within the property were a bit dangerous. Insufficient towels and bedding needed to.be changed more frequently. No outdoor sitting area.Th
We came for my daughters graduation and it was a perfect location for a lovely walk along the river into the city
Liked: Clean and airy.Lots of hot water.
Disliked: Had to buy loo roll.
