Would highly recommend
Liked: Nice clean room, comfy beds, really friendly helpful staff, we arrived pretty late and we needed to leave some bags for the day and the staff were very accommodating. Also very near bus stop for buses into the centre of Durham and great breakfast.. Really good value for money
Disliked: Nothing really, all good
Not brilliant but survived it. Just
Disliked: Beds weren’t that comfortable and every time you flushed the toilet it sounded like the QE2 coming in to dock. The bedroom we were in was next to the main road so there was a fair amount of traffic noise and on the first night I was woken at around 01:30 by what sounded like banging on the wall which was inside the hotel. Almost left after the first night.

Reasonable for travelers who are not expecting the world!
Liked: The breakfast was satisfactory and the hosts were friendly. Good bus connection into the city centre.
Disliked: It was a reasonable choice for a short stay but a far cry from luxury.
The hosts were friendly and very helpful with any request we had, the pub was friendly, the landlady suggested the Beami
Liked: The property was comfortable and clean, although it was a little way out of the city access with regular buses made it easy to get to the city
Disliked: It would of been better if food was available at the property after a long drive we needed to find food elsewhere
