Exceptional
Beautiful lodge within a tranquil setting
Liked: James the host was fantastic! So helpful, giving us advice for lovely walks, greeted us at our car and even carried our bags in 🥹The lodge was fabulous. Decor and furnishings were of high spec, coffee machine with pods milk etc. The location was outstanding! Lovely walk along the river to city centre only 40 minutes. Beautiful outlook from the lodge, so pretty. Will definitely return.
Disliked: Everything was perfect
Liked: The accommodation was stunning, so clean and obviously finished to a very high standard! The location and view were amazing and so close to everything we needed. James told us absolutely everything we needed to know and more and made sure we knew he was on hand for anything else we might need. The garden centre was lovely to walk about and there is a nice café there. There is separate parking for the lodges which was handy!

Relaxing, cosy and gorgeous location
Liked: So clean, well kept and cosy! Had everything we needed and more. Great location, plenty of places to explore. Lovely to be able to potter over to the garden centre too!
Disliked: Nothing! Just wish we could have stayed longer.
Liked: Even before arrival, James was in contact to arrange a smooth hand over of keys and welcome us to our stay. Me and my wife have had many trips away and Unbox is at the top of the list. The location, facilities and staff are fantastic. The unit is spacious, comfortable and you feel at home from the start. Durham is accessible by foot along the river or 5 minutes by car. We will be visiting again 100%! Thank you again James, we hope to come again, very soon.
