  Liked: An excellent conversion of a large house into both private living space for the owner and flats to rent. The flat was modern and comfortable, and the communal kitchen was light and bright with high-quality fittings and equipment and a lovely view over Exeter. Everything was kept beautifully clean. The location was perfect, within easy reach of the city centre on foot or by bus, and only 5 minutes away from Waitrose.

  Disliked: Nothing at all to dislike.

  I had a lovely stay but the apartment was a bit disappointing

  Liked: Food not included. Location was very good, able to walk into the city and down to the river. Good bus service down to Topsham.

  Disliked: The shower needs a really good scrub. There was a lot of mold in the grouting and soap scum in the tiles. Really nasty. The hot water and heating didn’t work on my first morning, so I had to go out without having a chance to shower. Apparently this is a problem with “the system” when the pressure drops. I got the impression it might be a frequent problem with “the system” which suggests that a new system would be a really good idea. I expect to be able to have a shower when I’m paying £95 a night to stay here.
