Fabulous
All according to plan!
Liked: Location was perfect. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good.
Disliked: Access to EV charging.
Liked: Hotel was clean, quiet and in a great location. We traveled by foot to most locations easily. The breakfast was good and had the usual choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a great location near the lower train station. Easy to reach a small shopping area over the bridge with a Boots and Poundland side by side.
Disliked: The hotel was fine. The history of Exeter was interesting, the amount of graffiti was unexpected and unattractive.
Liked: Good value and included brekkie
Disliked: Would have been full marks but the aircon didn't work so was too hot to sleep
One night stay to be neat family
Liked: Convenient.
Disliked: Breakfast area a little cramped
Convenient, very clean
Liked: I think this Holiday Inn has been newly refurbished as the room was spotless (even the grout in the bathroom was pristine). Generous sized room, and the breakfast is actually pretty decent. Reception staff were lovely, both about checking in early and about leaving bags there the next day. The location means walking up steps and a hill to the city centre, but it wouldn't seem that is avoidable in Exeter.
Disliked: Honestly nothing. It was an ideal budget hotel.
Great stay
Liked: Excellent value. Lovely staff.. clean room with a comfy bed. Easy walk into the city.
Disliked: Nothing
