  A great location. The hotel could be better but we would give it another chance

  Liked: The hotel is in a great location - easy walking distance to the Cathedral and the Quay. The room was a great size and clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and the Wifi was good. We enjoyed a drink in the pub too.

  Disliked: We were possibly just unlucky, but the room wasn't soundproofed from the outside at all. Both nights we had people loudly arguing outside for a considerable time and the first night we had the glass recycling being collected at 4.30am which woke us both! The shower gel & shampoo were difficult to pump out of the bottles affixed to the wall in the shower. The breakfast on the first morning was a shambles (better on the second) but this was never acknowledged by the staff. We struggled to find a parking space when we first arrived too. It was a shame as the place has a lot going for it but needs some TLC.

  Liked: Very friendly receptionist on arrival and checked in quickly. Arranged payment for car parking with no problems. Room clean and warm and with plenty of space. Hanging space fine. Bathroom clean and warm. Breakfast good. Room quiet overnight. Breakfast good, but see below.

  Disliked: Lack of drawers in the room for storage. No safe for security. At breakfast the continental breakfast was limited and had run out of items without being restocked. (bread for toaster, hot water etc)
