    Wonderful Gem

Liked: Beautifully decorated, friendly atmosphere, room was clean and cosy. We had dinner there for which was exceptional and breakfast the following day was delicious. We stayed for our wedding night and was exactly what we hoped for.

    Overnight mid-week overnight stay

Liked: Everything, easy to find, all staff welcoming and friendly. Lovely feature room overlooking the Exe, well appointed bathroom. Very well stocked mini bar/goodies which if you wanted you of course had to pay for, but tea, coffee biscuits all free and fresh milk too, thank you! We ate in the restaurant in the evening, really good menu, wide choice (it was very busy for mid'week) and breakfast excellent in the morning. Will definitely try more St Austell pubs with accommodation as we were so impressed - also had the best night's sleep I have had for a long time too!

Disliked: Can"t think of anything, really impressed!
