    A home from home

Liked: Really lovely house. Warm and cosy. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and in a convenient location. Easy parking. Good communication from the host. Enjoyed lighting the log burner each evening.

Disliked: A collander in the kitchen would have been useful. Would prefer there to have been pillow protectors.

Lovely cosy accommodation in a great location

Liked: Property was in a great location, easy to walk into Harrogate or bus stop right outside. Property is modern and the interior is well kept throughout.

Disliked: Said there was underfloor heating in the manual but couldn’t get this to work in the kitchen or the bathroom. No kindling or firewood in the basket, needed to locate in shed at the back

Attractive house kept very clean, but not welcoming

Liked: It was clean, attractive and comfortable. MiniMart and hot food shops across the road. Artistic arrangements in the house.

Disliked: Link sent me to get there took me 9 miles away. Cream carpets almost everywhere, and a sign in the tiny hallway telling you to take your shoes off, despite listing saying 'Tile/marble floor,' which had been important for me. I am disabled, and struggle to change footwear without a chair to sit on, and I should wear shoes indoors, as I have special orthotics to help my balance. There was a stack of wood by the wood burner, but with a sign that it was decorative, so not to be used - to get the wood from outside. Rubbish and recycling had to be put in bins which were tricky to access past the prickly overgrown hedge. The lighting wasn't sensible in the lounge. I felt rather ill at ease there. Lots of kitchen stuff, but no colander. The piezo electric lighters in the kitchen didn't work. Ugly black hardware chaining the understandably private wardrobe doors closed was unsightly. Bedrooms were cold. Parking outside was tricky on such a busy road.
