  In need of refurb

  Liked: We stayed at Pine Marten hotel on 25 Oct. Room 2. The room was a good size the decor was good, with good bed linen. The room was a good size, may have benefited from a small sofa.Breafast was excellent

  Disliked: The radiator thermostat did not appear to work. Very cold on arrival, Very hot when turned on. Could not work out how to cool down. The ensuite was very poor. The shower rose was blocked causing water to spray out of the cubical. The grout originally grey is blackened in the wet area. We mopped up with the towels which were thankfully of good quality. Replied to hotel request for feedback but no response.. Sorry, not impressed or likley to return

  Very disappointed as been many times and now will not return

  Liked: Breakfast was poor, as second day couldn’t have my choice as ran out of yoghurt!!third day, no butter with toast, no spoons or saucers for tea

Directions:

From the A1 (M) exit at Junction 47 take the A59 for Harrogate

At the roundabout, take the A658 until the roundabout with the A661

Follow the A661 to Harrogate until the roundabout for the A6040

Turn left over the next roundabout into Otley Road

The lodge is located at The Pine Marten, on the left opposite the church
