  Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel and room was modern, clean and comfortable with nice touches such as a personalised greeting card left in our room, good quality soap, coffee machine, cutlery and microwave (no food served in the hotel). The central location was great for visiting the docks, shopping, and arriving by train. It is very close to a strip of nightclubs, but you couldn't hear it in the room.

  Disliked: The only negatives (wouldn't stop me going back) was that our kettle only worked if you held down the switch until it boiled, and we had some slight trouble with our payment going through, but the staff were really helpful in getting this sorted. We loved the central location, although the proximity to the nightclubs could be a bit daunting if you were out late and not clubbing too. It would be great if the hotel served breakfast, but it's just around the corner from Wetherspoons and other options.

  Lovely hotel

  Liked: A lovely hotel in a very central location. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was, even during the Halloween weekend! The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that, unfortunately, it isn’t pet-friendly. A shame, as otherwise it was a wonderful stay!

  Cannot rate this highly enough, a real gem

  Liked: Location was excellent so central. The exceptional part was how lovely and helpful the staff were. Lived the mini kitchen, Fabulous value for money.
