  Excellent stay within walking distance to central Newcastle. The hotel provided everything we needed

  Liked: Breakfast and food served on site was excellent, local shops nearby in Jesmond if required. Bed was comfortable and staff very helpful.

  Great location but needs a few small improvements

  Liked: Really brilliant location and downstairs area is lovely. The room was very big.

  Disliked: The breakfast lacked imagination and some of the fruit was well past its best. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, which was disappointing. The pillows were really firm too, so hard to sleep.

  Lovely Time Away

  Great value for Bed and breakfast but avoid buying food in restaurant!/bar

  Liked: Friendly helpful staff. Decent basic room with excellent bath. Good value as breakfast was included. The breakfast was plentiful and buffet style. Good choice and well cooked.

  Disliked: Room was on front and very noisy. We had to have window open and room very hot even though no heating was on. We made the mistake of having dinner in the hotel which was a bar as well. The food was awful. Supposed to be hunters chicken. Chicken breast bacon cheese with chips and coleslaw what I actually got was 2 very small bits of chicken 3 rashers very salty bacon smothered in greasy cheese and lots of anaemic chips no coleslaw as they had run out. It was fairly inedible but they did give us 15% reduction.
