  Awful cleanliness, awful customer service to problems

  Disliked: Whilst outside the house waiting for check in time, we saw 3 e-bikes with balaclava wearing riders circling around making us worry about the safety of our car over night. Household waste bin with no lid, overflowing and stinking in the heat. Rubbish bags piled up in front garden, ripped apart and food waste spread around by rats and birds. Dirty oven with food in. Downstairs bathroom door handle hanging off. No carpets hoovered. Thick black mould in the shower. Fresh Poo stain on black and white bedroom throws (which would have been the kids beds), toenail on chairs. We left within 10 mins of arriving. Whilst fairly quick to respond, the owners described these as “minor issues” blamed a cleaning company, and offered less than a third of the cost back as a refund. Horrendous experience, don’t risk it. - Still haven’t got our money back nearly a month later!

  Liked: Modern, owner helpful and responsive, large space, enough towels, good TV and fridge space, all things to use like iron were available. The owner allowed us to keep our luggage there even after checkout which was very kind. There was dinning and living area and kitchen, 2 toilets and bedrooms and storage. Over all the property was nice. Check is super easy and check out. Directions very clear

  Disliked: Curtains allowed the light in and it was as if lights were on nearly 24hrs. There was some dog poop outside and cigarettes and then bins outside were full, some of the inside had stuff remaining in the current bins and some of the cups/plates/cutlery weren't clean. There was dust, dirt and some hair on the bedsheets and surrounding areas of the house.

  A great spot

  Liked: Really great location, handy for the metro but far enough out of the city that it felt more peaceful. Lovely local shop for the small bits you might need and Aldi just down the road. We stayed for the Great North Run and immediately went to book again for next year but sadly no availability.

  Lovely stay, modern, great facilities

  Liked: Beds were very comfortable Rooms and furniture very modern and in good condition Loved the kitchen Loved lounge at rear by back door Loved toilet upstairs and downstairs Facilities very good, weren’t missing any facilities, cater very well. Lovely welcome cookies and coffees/teas etc thank you. Loved how you even have an Xmas tree for some guests

  Disliked: Some cushion covers had yellow staining Blue bin had no lid, overflowing with rubbish over front garden Some blinds damaged in some rooms Gardens overgrown Tv - slow/wouldn’t turn on at times Some oven trays were very dirty. Needed a tray with no holes. Lacking toilet paper, but no big issue as went to get some but if multiple guests staying could of needed to go out same day/on arrival which may be inconvenience to other guests Coffee table in lounge isn’t very secure, may just need tightening Please don’t take this as criticism, just constructive feedback, we enjoyed our stay, just didn’t want to avoid not noting areas above as would likely impact others/cause others to complain:)

  Excellent. Just what we wanted and the owners were brilliant

  Liked: Agents/owners were excellent and helpful with super fast responses. Location was perfect for us, 5 minutes walk to a Metro station, 2 minutes drive to the A1, 8 minutes walk {or 2 minutes drive} to a good size Asda. Large living room with seating for 6. Location was totally quiet at night. Parking was easy.

  Disliked: This is just personal taste. The bedrooms were very bright early in the summer morning and the beds were very firm. But others may well be ok with that.
