Guest reviews
Very good
Liked: Room 326 river view top marks one of the best rooms we've stayed in. Would like this room again in the future.
Brillant
Liked: Staff were amazing
Disliked: amazing
Put in an accessible room felt uncomfortable
Liked: Reasonable clean
Disliked: Location away from main centre. Got put in an accessible room so felt very uncomfortable.
My stay was terrible, room was smelling like pee, walls had splashes of food and drinks, carpet was stained
Liked: Nothing as such, only attraction about the property is the location as it sits on the river.
Disliked: Highly uncleaned and unfriendly staff. I would absolutely never recommend the Leonardo Hotel Newcastle Quayside. My experience here was completely unacceptable, defined by an appalling lack of basic cleanliness and structural upkeep. * The Top Floor Room (First Assignment): Upon checking into my first room on the top floor, I was greeted by shocking neglect. The carpet was heavily stained, the bed looked explicitly pre-used and unmade, there were visible splashes splattered on the walls, and the washbasin was entirely clogged and unusable. * The First Floor Room (Second Assignment): After making a formal complaint to the staff, I was moved to a different room on the first floor. This room was no better—the moment I walked in, it hit me with a strong, repulsive smell of pee. I had to clean the room with the sanitiser and sprayed perfume during my stay and yes I did consider moving out. * The communal areas and corridors leading up to the rooms felt just as tired and neglected as the rooms themselves. Moving a guest from an uncleaned room directly into a room smelling of urine shows a complete lack of oversight by the housekeeping and management teams. Book somewhere else in Newcastle.
OK, suited our needs for a one might stau
Liked: Breakfast was good
Disliked: Bathroom was dated. Poor shower
Our stay was brilliant and we liked the atmosphere and the hotel we would go back
Liked: The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff were so helpful,
Disliked: The only thing that there was not enough car parking spaces and we had to go to a alternative car park, but the staff did tell us that in the morning there would be some parking spaces as people would be leaving,
