  Hidden Gem

Liked: The entire team, bartenders, utilities support, manager and the owner. I couldn't have felt more welcome Cash and his team are professionals who made the experience thoroughly enjoyable.

Disliked: I thought about this for a moment. I enjoyed everything.

  Haunted bedroom

  Liked: Good value

Disliked: It was old but was clean and cheap. I thought my room was haunted. There were no chairs in the room so I sat on the edge of the bed watching the TV. I felt a strange presence behind me several times. It scared me for a while before I realised that every time a lorry or a bus went past the hotel it made my bed vibrate. Apparently there's a speed bump on the road.😂

  The hotel needs shutting down

  Liked: Nothing

Disliked: No door handle on our room. The room wasn’t clean at all signs of previous people stopping, sockets half off the wall, body hair all over the shower. Bed with marks on the sheets to the point i slept in my clothes, carpets awful.

Good cheap for a one nighter

Liked: The friendliness of the staff made this place. It was basic and good for an overnighter but probably not a place I would anchor myself at for Newcastle.

Disliked: The decor and facilities are dated.

did the job for a 2 night stay for taking part in the Great North Run

Liked: very friendly helpful staff. Room was described as basic, and it was. But comfortable roomy and great for a short stay.

  Disliked: could be cleaner overall.
