  Poor hotel at unreasonable price

  Liked: Nothing.

  Disliked: No heating in my room. Hair dryer didnt work. Forced to pay a £50 deposit to cover damage which have not yet received back. Noisy bar below the hotel room. Breakfast was continental onsisting of juice,toast and jam yoghuft and fruit. No tea or coffee.

  Liked: The only positive I can give is in relation to the food, we ordered steak and gammon and I will give them a 10/10 yet I don’t like the wooden board they were served on you could see where previous knives had cut and I’m bad with hygiene and germs, yet the portion was 10/10, taste 10/10 value 10/10

Good to know

The property is currently undergoing refurbishment in corridors and some bathrooms; guests may experience light disturbance during the day. All guests are required to pay £50 damage deposit on arrival per room. This can be paid cash or card and will be returned/refunded on departure as long as no damage is done to the rooms. When booking 5 or more rooms different policies and additional supplements will apply. Please contact property for details .Please note that there is no lift at the hotel.

Wednesday evenings are particularly busy in our bar due to the local student night. As a result guests staying in rooms above the bar may experience increased noise during the evening up until 10:30pm. We recommend that guests who are sensitive to noise take this into consideration when booking.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
