Liked: The room was very nice and the shower was fantastic with good pressure. I particularly liked the hospitality of the staff who were eager to please and always very respectful and friendly.

Disliked: The A/C unit didn't seem to turn on in our room and the light above the mirror didn't work.

Liked: Friendly helpful staff. Good comfortable room. A bit small for a twin room. The bathroom was too small and cramped. Sitting on the floating toilet cramped between the sink and radiator wasnt ideal. Kept leaning on the hot radiator whilst sitting on the toilet. I would stay there again. The breakfast was good but a bit too early. Over all I think the room for the night was a bit too expensive. Maybe it should've been about £85 for the night.

    Disliked: See above.

Liked: The property was a quaint place, very original and sympathetic to its period even down to the china cups on your breakfast table. We found the staff to be very accommodating nothing was too much and they did it with a smile 😄 When you stay there you must have the breakfast. It is home made bread to die for with lots more which is also home made. A big shout out to the chef he is amazing. The property is only a 20 minute walk into Oxford or there is a short bus ride which stops virtually outside the door. If we were to go back to Oxford we would totally stay there again. It had everything you need. Well done to everyone especially Lamar who was fabulous and thank you 🙏

    Lovely hotel in great location!

Liked: Lamar was an absolutely excellent host and couldn't have been more helpful! Parking was a bonus and bus links into Oxford were very convenient. The room was lovely with loads of extra touches, ie Espresso machine. Breakfast was cooked to order, but arrived very quickly, and it was delicious! There is also a fridge in reception that guest can use. Very good attention to detail, will definitely stay there again.

Disliked: Only stayed for 2 nights!
