    Budget friendly, no frills

Liked: Coffee and tea making facilities with bottled water, powerful, hot shower, friendly and professional staff. Mattress was firm but not uncomfortable. Room was clean.

Disliked: Musty, damp smell upon entry and lots of noise from the street into the early hours. This may only be the case on weekends

    Stratospheric noise

Liked: The location was excellent. Near my course, right by public transport and right in the city centre. Noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in.

Disliked: The other guests. The first night the police were eventually called. I was woken up by a guy repeatedly shouting in the corridor some incomprehensible words and this went on for an hour between 4am and 5am. Someone else came and was banging on a door to be let in - clearly he didn't understand how hotels work, ie, that I paid over 300 euros for two nights intending to sleep so I could do my university course. I was too scared to go out onto the corridor and the phone in my room was dead. The shouting went on for an hour until I eventually shouted out loud that there were other guests in the hotel and we wanted to sleep. I was afraid that they would break into my room so frankly it was a nightmare - except my night's sleep was completely ruined by these selfish feral men. I managed to fix my phone the next day - the cable was loose. However, the shouting started again at 1:30 and when I went to phone no one answered my calls. I was a woman by myself so felt trapped and very frightened by this behaviour. It went on for ages - totally selfish individuals that couldn't care less about other guests. I think I should get a full refund and it should be charged to these savages.
