Excellent location for the JR hospital and great value for money. Indian downstairs is also excellent!

Disliked: The room was cold the heating wasn’t working The door adjacent to mine was constantly banging through the night. The bedding had a strange smell and the room was not clean it was very grubby/ the bathroom in particular ( bath was filthy ) the shower did not work initially and needed brute force to switch to shower there was no plug ( not that I would have wanted sit in it )! I flushed the toilet and it left what looked like someone had been sick in it! The sink was moving away from the wall and the wall coverings and floor were also not clean! This was not of a standard for the money paid.
Good value for money if you’re after a budget hotel within a short walking distance to the John Radcliffe Hospital

Good location and bed but the hotel very much needs modernising and updating and decorating
Liked: This review is in two parts. The Good. The location of the hotel was excellent for what we wanted and the beds were comfortable. The not so good. The hotel itself was quite dilapidated, aged and very basic. It could do with modernising and updating.
