Exceptional
Nice stay
Liked: Very comfortable room, lovely bed linen, nicely furnished with interesting art. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: TV wasn't working and safe was locked, housekeeping should have checked.. Could hear noise from next door room through communicating door.
Brilliant short stay, a hotel I would definitely come back to
Liked: Fantastic location in a peaceful, calming environment. Rooms were well maintained with comfortable beds. Overall a very pleasant experience.
Disliked: Option to have breakfast included in the price (unless I missed that option).

Liked: Beautiful and clean stay. So comfortable and the location couldn’t be better! One of our favorite stays and being able to walk right out into the heart of the city was so magical! We loved it here.

Lovely hotel, but not worth the price
Liked: Nice room, good add-ons like body lotion etc. very comfortable beds, loads of mirrors, good storage. Excellent and convenient car park. Good restaurant.
Disliked: Very expensive; high end prices for good, but not great hotel. I was worried about the security. We were given our keys during our stay, without any request for identity. Also no dead lock on the bedroom doors, so had anybody been given our keys, they would have had easy access.
We had an extremely comfortable and enjoyable stay in a wonderfully central location
Liked: The room was stunning, with two large windows overlooking The High Street and beautiful old buildings. The style was well designed, understated luxury. The staff were friendly, respectful and attentive at all times and the food was excellent.

Please be aware of traffic restrictions on the High Street between 7:30 and 6:30 pm, close to the front of the hotel. Please access the hotel parking lot via Merton Street and Magpie Lane and beware of driving on the High Street between these times. The hotel can be contacted for driving directions.
