    OYO Lina Guesthouse Experience

Liked: Apart from the internet connection... The storage is plenty, the parking is free and the location is very accessible to the city centre through nearby bus stops. It is also very close to many grocery stores and restaurants. The bed is cozy; the bedroom itself has a cute size of shower room + toilet with sink; there is a kettle, set of mugs and glasses that came with couple of teas and coffee sachets, sugar and milk. The steam iron is available on the top floor and is easily accessible. There is also a hair dryer in the drawer.

Disliked: The bedside lamp is much brighter than the ceiling lamp so we used the former most of the time. Please do not use the tap from the sink if someone is in the shower, otherwise the water from the shower will be very cold. If you are looking for a place where you can cook or heat food, this is not the right place as there is no microwave nor oven in the room but takeaways are ok (lots of restaurants can deliver to the place). The floor is also creaky you might want to be careful in walking around your room.:) There is a TV but most of the time the signal is off - not sure if this is due to the heavy rainfall. It looks like it is a smart TV but it doesn't connect to the internet so you cannot cast your phone on it. Not sure also if the heavy rainfall has had an effect on the boiler; there was an evening when the radiator did not switch on so it was really cold in the room. Overall, knowing what is available and what is not from this guesthouse will help you plan ahead. I will still book this place next time I visit Oxford.

    Great but breakfast extra

Liked: Quiet room. Had parking for my big car. Closed access to Marks and Spencer groceries. On the bus line to town.

Disliked: Breakfast not included in price.

I would stay again despite these

Liked: I like how cosy it was, also, the amenities were handy.

Disliked: The temperature of the shower was really difficult to regulate - it was either freezing cold or boiling hot, the tiling was a bit grotty.

Very welcoming with lovely room, and parking space. Close to restaurants and transport to Oxford

Liked: We were made to feel welcome and had a very nice room. We were close to restaurants etc and the bus stop for Oxford. We were able to park outside the house and left the car there in the morning while we explored Oxfird.

Disliked: Shower was very weak. Communication issue between staff meant that breakfast was cleared away before we got there. Member of staff offered to get breakfast for us but we did not want her to have to do that.
