  A three bedroom house with the basic amenities in the suburbs of Oxford

  Liked: Close to bus stops and a good pub. The property is 20 minutes away from the centre of Oxford and buses are regular. Having three bedrooms was a positive. WiFi good.

  Disliked: Beds were soft. If you don’t like a firm mattress then you’re fine. If not…

  Liked: Good location to Oxford, lovely park very close by

  Disliked: I gave the owners 3 chances to resolve issues, all i received back is they like to give a 5 star service, well its far from it. Not very clean, there was an awful sewage smell coming from the downstairs bathroom,rotten woodwork,no working expelair to try & get rid of smell. Kitchen dirty, plug didn't fit sink so washing up difficult, no washing-up bowl. Setee had dirty stains on seats, covered with throws. Back garden really uncared for. also they share part of it with neighbours with a gated drive, so you are reliant on the neighbour closing it, so difficult if you have children or dogs. We messaged the owners 3 times! and nothing resolved, not even a washing up bowl! It seems they are just in it for the money & not customer satisfaction. Problems have been raised by other guests if you read old reviews & the replies from the owners speak from themselves. It's a shame as with a bit of care & attention this could be a nice place to stay.

  Lovely warm house in a great location for Oxford

  Liked: Great location, cosy, feels right at home, so close to the city centre

  Disliked: I only say this as a warning to other dog owners, the next door neighbours garden is accessed through the garden of this property, they also store their bikes inside the entrance to the garden, if you have reactive or protective dogs be warned that people might walk in when your dogs are the garden

  A really enjoyable stay for our family of 3

  Liked: We enjoyed our stay and will be coming back. I'm Oxford born and raised but emigrated. I chose this house as Florence Park is a decent area and quiet at night. Its close to the Park with the Flo Cafe (excellent cake), Sainsburys supermarket, Costa Coffee, Pure Gym and bus routes to the city center. Our son is 2 years old so he enjoyed the back garden - and a crib and high chair were provided. The parking space was an absolute bonus as its all permits now. Even local residents can't park anywhere

  Disliked: Probably too small for 5 people but manageable with 3 of us. Garden bench looked a bit weak, probably needs replacing. No clothes dryer - not an issue as we line dried but might get problematic in winter. Other than that, no complaints. We'll be back

  I have never written a review before, the property was very disappointing and not up to standard

  Disliked: The property was listed as award winning, which is was not. We found it very disappointing - Dirty and ill fitting carpets, and skirting boards were dirty. Kitchen was basic with ill fitting doors and fat dripping from the cooker hood. Freezer was iced up and needs cleaning and defrosting. TV didn't work and an enquiry to help number received no response. Bedside light didn't work. No helpful information given on appliances. Back garden was ill kempt and obviously had not received any attention for months. It would have been very helpful to be warned about the 'bus gates and not driving to the property this way Overall impression was of lack of care and attention to detail, and it smells.
