All good except for the saggy mattress

Liked: THe staff, location, cleanliness and amenities are all very good The Deluxe room was spacious and the window was able to be opened so that was helpful. Bathroom clean and shower and water very good

Disliked: The mattress on the bed was old, tired and uncomfortable It should have been replaced some time ago. Bothe sides sagged and the edges were very soft. However when I mentioned this to the staff / owner they were apologetic and took steps to get a new mattress for the bed (not in time for me sadly!!) Pillows, sheets and duvet were all good Maybe some additional coffee supplied. There was one of normal coffee and one of decaf - perhaps 2 packets of coffee could have been provided

Liked: The room had all the essential to sleep, we liked the small cookies and availability of water that we found in the room. The location is excellent and gave us the opportunity to visit all the city centre, being at the same time close to the raiway station.

Disliked: It is clean, but if you are very sensible to the dust it may not be amazing, due to the moquette and the fact that the building seems quite historic.

    So convenient

Liked: Large room. Local view from window. Location. Large private modern bathroom. Able to open window. Stairs - we were aware and prepared, light luggage, kept us fit 😄.

Disliked: Portable air-con fitted in window didn't work - room was a bit warm on arrival but just right for most of our stay. Bedside lamps cool, modern, but perhaps too bright for reading in bed? 😎

Overall I wouldn’t recommend it the stairs are narrow and a lot to walk up with your luggage

Liked: The staff were great and the location was good

Disliked: I understand it’s probably heritage listed but the bed felt like it was from that era also. So uncomfortable it felt like the old wooden and spring base. Absolutely terrible. Our floor was on a massive lean so anything you put on the desk just rolled off. The windows need to be double glazed as the students were out having a great time till 3 in the morning which is great for them but they sounded like they were in the room. Super crazy loud. The bathroom ceiling was peeling and had huge rust stains.

Highly recommend. Difficult to find a better location to stay in Oxford

Liked: Great location. Friendly staff. Traditional vibe which I like.

Disliked: Wifi was incredibly patchy. Weak signal at times which made it difficult when doing work.
