Place was OK, but Jesus, what a stress fest
Liked: The caretaker bloke was a nice guy and very helpful
Disliked: Book at your peril! No idea what was going on, but had no contact from the owner right up to the day of the booking, despite sending numerous messages via Booking. Had to call Booking on the morning of travel, so no idea if we had somewhere to stay or not! Got told we would have to wait until check in time had passed and they would find us another place to stay. So no stress involved in that limbo..... Then an hour later, got a message from the owner and got given not the apartment we booked, which was supposed to have a garden for the dog and 2 ensuites. Small potatoes, but no coffee or cafetière
Liked: The interior design of the house is new, space is enough space for the family to stay. Locations are good.
Disliked: There are air conditioners and fans in the house, and the smell of marijuana permeates the whole room every night, which makes people feel very uncomfortable. And the cleanliness needs to be improved.
Shows a lack of care
Liked: The location was spot on for visiting my son at University. Large, airy ground-floor flat with garden.
Disliked: This place could be a gem with a bit of care. Mattress and pillows were uncomfortable, lumpy, and obviously not of any quality. The kitchen was lacking in basic equipment. No knives for cutting or peeling, no scissors. One, very badly stained tea towel. The oven and oven tray needed a good wash before use. No wine glasses. Usually, a host would start you off with a couple of tea bags, coffee, and most cases, some milk, but unfortunately, there were no personal touches like that here. Shame because the place has real potential.
