Exceptional
the food was excellent, the room not worth the money, noise all night from out side, bathroom to hot
Liked: food was very good
Disliked: staff attitude
Liked: The breakfast was freshly cooked and with a good choice.
Great sleep in a lovely spot!
Liked: Kind staff, large, comfortable room. Great breakfast. Very close to train station.
Disliked: No elevator, fine for us, but would be a problem for anyone with mobility challenge.
A fine place to stay for a trip to Oxford, with great food, just note that parking isn't great here
Liked: The room was spacious and light, although the double bed was a little narrow for us. The hotel is in a quiet road not far from the centre of Oxford. We took advantage of a discount and had our evening meal here and the food was excellent. As good a steak as I've had anywhere. The quality of the food followed through to the breakfast which was in our view top notch. A decent place to stay other than our one gripe about parking.
Disliked: Parking was a problem for us. The team suggested a small, tight hotel car park up the road but we couldn't get the App to work, so not wanting to risk a parking fine tried the station car park but that was expensive and the App didn't seem to be flexible in terms of lengths of stay, so we settled for a parking space at a recreation ground almost half a mile away. A bit irritating having to faff around for 45 minutes when we first got there but once sorted it was ok. Suggest dropping off any heavy bags before searching for a parking space. Otherwise we had a fine stay,
Liked: Very dated, poor value for the cost.
Disliked: Steep stairs. Dangerous shower (no bathmats)
Excellent location, really good breakfast and all in all a charming place to stay
Liked: Excellent location just out of the city centre, nice opportunities for short strolls in the neighbourhood, really good breakfast and all in all a charming place to stay.
Disliked: I was quite happy and do not have a remark
