Guest reviews
Pleasant
Liked: The location is excellent. Ideal for Oxford, if you like a bit of a walk. Loved the high-tech Bathroom mirror.
Disliked: Slightly disappointing breakfast.
This hotel is a good place to stay for one night when wanting a budget friendly city break!
Liked: After reading reviews about this hotel I was worried about what to expect but this hotel exceeded my expectations it was clean, the staff were friendly, the beds were comfortable, the shower was a good size and the breakfast was included! Being only a 10 minute car journey or a 45 minute walk by the river into Oxford centre, we had a lovely time exploring Oxford without being in the hussel and bussel of city life!
Disliked: Just an option to improve would be the breakfast as there could have been more choices and be on for later as it is only served 7:30-9:30! Maybe a choice of white or brown bread to!
Liked: Locationnwas just wright bed was too low
Would come back again in the future as the price was Good and I did the the location
Liked: All was good and the location is very good
Disliked: The shower wasn't good in my room
Slightly faulty towers and the breakfast is awful but was clean at least
Liked: Looked nice from the outside
Disliked: Smelt bad
Not quite good enough for another visit, this was the fourth time we have stayed at the Tree
Liked: Bathroom had been renovated but not completed. No hooks to hang gowns, paint on the windows, broken window latch held together with string. Breakfast was good except for the first day when only bread and scrambled eggs were available. Dinners were very good. Service was friendly and efficient. The bar and the beer were good.
Disliked: Outside grounds were unkempt. Piles of rubbish, weeds in the paved areas, old decorations flapping in the wind.
