  Overnight in oxford

Liked: Room was just fine, basic, but just what we wanted for overnight. Its a short walk into the city centre, so great location. Parking might have been tricky, but we used Just Park for 2 full days at a hotel just down the road and it cost £12. Breakfast was not available, but plenty of great places in Oxford, so no problem there.

Liked: No communication, room late, no breakfast which said was included. Room was fine but bits broken off bed, lights didnt work and no friendly welcome when arrived. Cheap rooms but will not be staying again

Fine if you sacrifice cleanliness for location

Liked: Location was great, very short walk into Oxford centre. Parking info wasn't great, most of the nearby area is permit holders only, would have used park and ride if we'd have known. Cleanliness very poor. General upkeep was also very poor, outdated decor, en-suite was in desperate need for some maintenance. Check-in poor, we were called earlier in the day to confirm the time of our arrival but still had to wait around for an hour once we arrived.

Eerie and dark in the evening

Liked: Arrived in the evening, the place was located at a rather dark section of the street. Signage was badly lit and not immediately noticable. Front porch was dark, first impression of the place was really eerie

Liked: Everything you would hope to find was here - well worth paying for the excellent breakfast.
