Good Location and Value for Money😀

Liked: We love the Location Closer to the Sea, the Breakfast was Great and We Saw two Seals Chilling on the Sand. This is our second visit and our Fur babies love it here too. Will be back Summer Maybe.

Disliked: We have one Bed for the 3 of us and it was very tight space 😂

Proper Cornish pub in a lovely seaside village with lots of tiny lanes and two beaches

Liked: Lovely old pub with good home-cooked food - enjoyable though not particularly exciting cuisine. Live music (but not the night I was there). Clearly popular with locals. The twin villages Kingsand and Cawsand are beautiful.

Disliked: Some of the bar area wasn’t very well lit and I had to ask both at dinner and breakfast if I could sit somewhere lighter. Driving is quite hazardous because of the very narrow lanes.

    Pretty Cornish Seaside Village

Liked: Beautiful quiet village location very close to the sea, just a very short stroll. Quaint Cornish Village, full of pretty Cottages and amazing sea view. Easy short stroll to Cawsand, the next Village. There is a nice Cafe there and you can take a boat ride to Plymouth Barbican, if you fancy a day trip. Nice size room with a big bathroom. Our room faced the street. Rooms are above a popular local Pub with friendly staff. Big fair priced Carpark next to the Pub. Great location for Wedding Guests at stunning Polhawn Fort, just a 10 minute drive away.

Disliked: B&B Some general maintenance and cleaning issues. Communal hallway carpet is stained. Some areas of the hallway and room need decorating. Windows rattle in the wind, bathroom one would not close. Some Bar noise until 11pm. Kitchen extracter fan on outside the window 8am-9pm (Room 5). Breakfast ok, slow service and only served 9am-10am. Main meals pricy, but to be fair big portions. The Village does lack a Cafe. The facilities available out of season: A limited general store,, expensive little Bakery, 2 Pubs and 2x Gift Shops, one excellent, well stocked, the other rather over priced, although home made products. Very narrow streets for cars.
