  I will definitely come back

  Liked: After a terrible night in London and a very rainy journey to Stratford-upon-Avon, I was impatiently waiting to check into this apartment and I was more than positively surprised by it. The size of it was great and I was more than happy about the provided coffee, sugar and milk in the kitchen. Due to the weather, I hadn't had the chance to make use of the backyard, so I'm already planning my trip back in spring or summer just so I can sit outside and read a book. The instructions on how to get the keys and where the bins are, were communicated clearly, were easy to follow, and left no questions. Also, when I couldn't figure out the shower, it only took a short phone call before I could enjoy the bliss of a warm shower. The distance to the theatre and other sights is very doable and actually a very nice stroll (and more importantly safe!) in the morning and in the evening.

  Disliked: - unfortunately the mattress was a bit too soft for my liking, but it was still fine. - the walls are a bit thin which leads to hearing noises from other parts of the house, especially from above and the corridor when people are closing their doors at all times of the day and night. Luckily, I had earphones with me, so it wasn't really an issue.

  Practical, served a purpose

  Liked: It was close to the centre and to the racecourse where we were starting our bike ride from. The kitchen is modern and they’ve used the space well. This apartment has its own access out to the shared yard area. Good communication with the property managers.

  Disliked: We opened the back door and there was a very strong smell of cannabis so we didn’t leave it open. This also prevented us from opening the windows so we were very warm in the apartment. There was no fan. There was a small amount of watered down washing up liquid and no hand soap in the bathroom. We did report this and the property manager did leave some for us the next day. As someone with contamination OCD, this triggered me quite significantly and we left the property a night early once we had finished our ride on Saturday. The bathroom is a strange set up, there is no-where to put toiletries and there was no dressing table either. It felt a little tired in places, marks on the walls and the window ledges were grubby. Parts of the apartment are really modern but others needed updating. The shower was very small too considering there was space to put a larger one in. Parking was tricky as the permit parking only gives you 2 hours and the property does not supply a permit with the booking. The roads that were suggested for us to park in were not suitable as it would have meant blocking residential drives and one of them was another permit road. You can hear noise from other parts of the house but that can’t be helped.

  Enjoyed my stay but had to cut it short due to family issues. Still waiting for th holding deposit 50 pounds

  Liked: Location was good. 13 mins to RSC Theatres, another 2 mins to town centre. Very few buses so you need to walk. Liked having a fridge and basic crockery etc, and an iron for sprucing up for theatre. Good for one or two people to do their own thing, I like the privacy.

  Disliked: 3 lots of keys and 3 key boxes. Too much. Surely one set of keys is enough? Walls quite thin so you will hear other residents - there are 5 small apartments in the building. Handwash and a dishtowel wd be good idea. I do like a bath after walking all day.
