Extremely upsetting experience – removed from the property over cars that were not ours

Disliked: **Extremely disappointing experience that ruined my mum's birthday weekend.** Before arriving, I told the owner that four of us were travelling separately in three cars. He confirmed there was only one allocated space and specifically told us to park the additional cars at the leisure centre opposite. My mum arrived first and used the allocated space. I arrived at 4:19pm, unloaded and left around 4:35pm to park at the leisure centre — I have a parking ticket timestamped 4:40pm. Our third car hadn't even arrived and was still travelling from London. The owner then called and accused us of having three cars on the drive, particularly insisting that a black BMW was ours. **It wasn't.** I explained which cars belonged to us, told him mine was at the leisure centre, offered to provide the parking ticket and encouraged him to check his CCTV. Despite this, he reported us to Booking.com for allegedly breaching the property's rules and we were told to leave. We had to pack up, redirect my sister who was still travelling, and find more expensive alternative accommodation at the last minute. When the owner eventually called me back around 7pm, his response was incredibly **brash, rude and accusatory**. He shouted at me, continued implying I was lying and claimed his CCTV showed we had been unloading for over an hour and that I wasn't driving when he called. The timestamps simply don't support this: we arrived at 4:19pm and had a leisure-centre parking ticket at 4:40pm. He even said it was "typical" that the black BMW had disappeared when we checked out — again, **it was not our car**. Misunderstandings happen, but the way this was handled was unacceptable. We followed the parking instructions we were given, offered evidence, and were still removed from the property with **no apology, empathy or acknowledgement when we disputed the accusation**.
