  Not suitable for a family due to seating in Lounge, location 10 mins from National pool, comfy beds

  Liked: The view from the back of property

  Disliked: The paintwork tidying up, Chain for front door, new carpet throughout, sign warning of steep top stair and handrail, not enough seats for a family only had a 2 seater settee which was uncomfortable, took nearly 3 weeks to get deposit back, Left my charger there and they wanted £35 to repost it back, no food bin or black bin. Living room to hall door was difficult to open, windows smeared and dirty, back bedroom blind wouldn’t drop and no curtain,Boiler was running all night and no hot water next morning.Garden overgrown and sharp brambles poking 5hrough decking at 5he rear of the property.

  Not worth the money. Disappointing

  Liked: The location of the house was central. House was clean and beds made. TV remote not working and back door not locking the first night but these were fixed the following morning.

  Disliked: We had to walk up the hill everytime. It's horrendous. There is only one small TV in the living room, no TVs in other rooms. 1 fan in one room only. Sitting area has just 1 three seater for 7 guests, dining table has 4 functioning chairs as the 5th one has shaky legs. So some people was sitting on the stairs when we needed to be together to eat or watch TV. Then the toilet was located at the far end of the house and we had to walk through the kitchen to access it. Imagine climbing down the stairs to pee twice in the night and walk all the way down. The bathroom door does not close well and doesn't also have a lock behind it so you have to shout when you notice someone is at the door. Even ordinary knocking on the door, the door is opened. The bathtub is another issue, feels like it would give way under your legs and water accumulating at that spot so we had to use our legs to sweep the water down the hole. The most painful one was when we went out the third day and returned to find a black cat eating the beef stew we had brought out from the freezer to eat for dinner. We had to go find something else to eat. And the bin we met at the backyard was still there till we left even though it was said it would be collected.

  Lovely property

  Liked: Lovely property with a lovely view too.

  Disliked: No fan (we stayed during a heatwave) and the oven switch was hard to locate we spent an hour looking for it. They also gave us the wrong WiFi password but that was easily fixed as we found the router.

  Liked: The location was perfect for what we needed it for it was nice and quiet

  Disliked: The boiler continuously showed a F75 fault which meant when we were coming back from being out the house was cold this also happened during the night. There was no TV in every room as stated only the one TV in the main living room which didn’t work there was no free view available with the only app accessible being BBC iplayer. The single beds had no bedding on them. The window in the kitchen did not close properly which caused a draft and made us weary of security issues. The upstairs smelt of cigarette smoke which wasn’t resolved when the windows were opened. There was no clear instruction regarding what to do with any rubbish there was no welcome pack with any information about how to use facilities including the boiler and heating controls which i had to google.

  A good value property well placed for a quick taxi into town, but some features let it down slightly

  Liked: Nicely set out, good location and lovely view from the terrace.

  Disliked: Bath damaged/saggy, sink leaked, beds rather uncomfortable.
