Too old
Liked: The staff did help setting up a heater.
Disliked: The squeaky floors drove me ìnsane. My upstairs neighbors kept walking around until 3-4 AM on a week night! I could not sleep. The wooden floors are something.. There were someone's toothpaste remains in the sink and hairs all over the floor. My heating didn't work.
Liked: Location was perfect opposite the castle. Right in the heart of the town. Room was clean and tidy.
Disliked: Reception area was very small and very tired. The whole hotel could do with new carpet through out and could do with re decorating to a little more of a higher standard.
Fab location and polite staff, but pricey!
Liked: Centrally located and available at short notice
Disliked: Quite expensive for just a bed- heating not working fully, kettle not working in one of the rooms, sofa bed had to be moved to be opened. Take away breakfast available at extra cost. Hotel in need of TLC and some money spent on furnishings and a coat of paint!
Pleasant enough for one night only
Liked: Excellent location,with a lovely view of Windsor castle
Disliked: Rooms not so clean and run down, tap water was no where near hot enough for shower or bathing,balcony doors wouldn’t close properly, toilet blind didn’t work and was covered in mould,only one accessible wall socket for charging devices
Liked: It was very noisy but that wasn’t the hotels fault - other guests and street noise
Hotel was good- parking wasn’t!
Liked: The location was amazing. So close to the centre of Windsor- opposite the castle!
Disliked: Very disappointed with the parking. Booked the hotel because it had ‘parking’- but it didn’t have it’s own parking- rather a local car park! Was given the postcode to the car park, but satnav took me to the wrong one even though I’d put the correct postcode in- not sure why. Arrived back at the hotel to find out that I’d parked in the wrong car park. By the time I’d got back to the car- 10 minutes later- I had already got a parking fine! Hotel need to message people to let people know that they haven’t got their own parking and also let people know that the parking they use is actually a multi story car park. If I had been told that I would have knownI I’d parked in the wrong place. I checked the hotel’s details twice before booking to make sure it had parking. It said it did, but it didn’t! Spoit our arrival. £60 for parking fine or £20 to cancel. Felt like a scam- hope it wasn’t. Please be aware!
